Executive Sous Chef

Seeking one full-time, permanent Executive Sous Chef, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. The salary will be negotiated, based on experience. The position is available immediately.

Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Ensuring high professional standards and quality, with the goal of the exceeding Guest expectations, the Exec. Sous-Chef oversees all aspects of Ala carte and Banquet food preparation during their shift.
• Assisting the Executive Chef in all aspects of the kitchen production.

Night Auditor

Seeking one full-time, permanent Night Auditor, required to work overnight shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated, based on experience. The position is available in August 2018.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Reliable and can commit to at least 12 months
• Completing End of Day process and completing all reporting function
• Assists Overnight Bell Desk Attendant with the security of the Banff Park Lodge
• Front desk and reservation duties as scheduled

Banquet Supervisor

Seeking one full-time, permanent Banquet Supervisor, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime. The wage will be negotiated based on experience for 30-40 hours per week under normal circumstances.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Supervise, and co-ordinate the activities of servers, bartenders, and catering staff
• Check room set-ups for correctness against BEO
• Plan and co-ordinate event details with kitchen, stewarding and catering
• Implement sequence of service, conducts pre-shift briefings and relates all pertinent information with staff
• Uphold staff appearance and grooming policies
• Supervise and assist with personalized service to enhance guest experience
• Ensure standards are enforced through diligent follow up of all functions
• Direct staff in maintaining clean, tidy and organized back of house service areas
• Build and maintain a liaison with function organizers before, during and after all services to ensure all needs are met and exceeded
• Communicate with catering and all other departments as needed on the outcome, challenges and successes of all functions
• Ensure a high level of department morale is maintained by:
• Coaching and counseling of line staff
• Ensuring the clear and accurate communication of hotel and department policies, news and events.
• Ensure that all financial reporting is maintained and accurate
• Complete all other duties as assigned by the Banquet Manager and / or Assistant Banquet Managers that relate to the overall operation

Homestead Inn Senior Room Attendant / Room Checker
