General Information

Our 27 Standard guest rooms are configured with 1 Queen Bed or 2 Double Beds. All guestrooms are equipped with:
  • In room Telephone;
  • Coffeemaker;
  • Convenience Fridge;
  • Cable Television;
  • Clock Radio;
  • Desk, Chest of Drawers and ample closet space;
  • Hair dryer;
  • Irons and boards (on request)
  • Kettles (on request)
  • Private bathroom
  • All rooms are non-smoking
Hotel Services
  • Free outdoor parking available on hotel property. In addition, heated underground parking is available at a daily fee at our premier property the Banff Park Lodge;
  • Ski & Board storage is available within your room;
  • Wireless Internet (Fee applies);
  • The Homestead Inn Front Desk –Open daily from 7am till 11pm;
  • The Banff Park Lodge Front Desk – Available between 11pm till 7am;
  • Safety & Security – 24 hour security is provided;
  • No elevators, only stair access to 2nd and 3rd floor. Please ask for ground floor room if needed;
  • Ice machine;
  • Pets are welcome; additional charge of $25 per pet / per night applies. Maximum cleaning charge of 5 Days, Maximum 2 pets per room permitted. Please call ahead to check for availability on pet rooms.
Our Booking & Cancellation Policy
  • All rates and packages are subject to change without notice;
  • All rates are based on single or double occupancy;
  • Extra person charge (16 years and over) is $15.00 CAD per night + tax.
  • Maximum 4 persons per room;
  • Children under 16 years of age stay free when accompanied by a parent or guardian in the same room;
  • Room rates and packages listed do not include 2% Tourism Improvement
  • Fee, 4% Room Levy Tax and 5% Goods & Services Tax (Taxes are subject to change);
  • Playpens are available upon request.
  • Sorry we do not have kitchenettes or cots available;
  • Guaranteed reservations must be accompanied with a major credit card. If a credit card is not available, a one night's deposit is required, which is to be received by the Hotel 14 days after booking. See below for our special payment policy for the Festive Season.
  • Cancellations on guaranteed bookings must be received no later than 6 p.m. three days prior (72 hours) to arrival to avoid cancellation fees. Cancellation fees are equal to one night's room charge plus applicable taxes. See below for the special cancellation policy for the Festive Season.
  • All rooms are non-smoking.
  • Payment and Cancellation Policy for the Festive Season
  • Minimum 2-night stay is required for all reservations arriving on December 30 and December 31.
  • If your stay includes any of the nights from December 27 through and including January 1, the hotel will require a non-refundable booking fee equivalent to the first night’s room rate and taxes payable by December 1 of this year. For example if you arrive on December 22 for a 7-night stay you will be charged this fee.

“Great location; Close to downtown; Quiet/Remote from traffic/noise on Banff Ave; Good clean house-keeping; Well-equipped rooms: Fan & Mini-freezers provided. Adequate towels,soap,shampoo etc. Short walk to stores, transport, restaurants. Free use of facilities at major Hotel across the street was an added bonus. Safe parking facilities behind the hotel. Special word of thanks to helpful, friendly staff-Peter/Nicole/Dee. Think this was my best deal ever in Banff. Have been a frequent visitor for many years.
